Taco Soup


1 lb ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
1 16 oz can pinto beans drained and rinsed
1 16 oz can red kidney beans drained and rinsed
1 c. frozen corn
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
2 c. water
2 14.5 oz cans diced tomatoes
½ can diced green chiles
1 oz packet taco seasoning

Cook and drain beef.  Add water and taco seasoning and cook until thickened. Add all other ingredients.  Bring to a boil and then simmer for about 30 minutes.  

*I substitute 2 cans of black beans for the pinto and kidney beans.
