Chicken and Broccoli Braid

This recipe is adapted from Pampered Chef.

Ingredients:
2 cups coarsely chopped cooked chicken
1.5 cups chopped broccoli
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
1/3 cup mayonnaise
2 tsp dried dill weed
1/4 tsp salt
1 garlic clove pressed
1 egg white, lightly beaten (optional)
2 cans crescent rolls

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Combine chicken, broccoli, cheese, bell pepper, mayonnaise, dill, salt, and garlic.  Mix well.  Place crecent rolls in a rectangular shape with seams pressed together.  Cut sides into 8, 1.5 inch strips.  Place chicken mixture in center of dough.  Lift strips up and over chicken filling.  Twist and lay down to form braid.  Brush with egg white.  Bake 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
